The pedestal is taking shape, one really gain from taking it easy.
I cutted the S/S tube 4 inches, making the bend matching the compass folding cover.

Here is a link to my Manual for the Steering Pedestal Withlock Cobra

Tools needed.

The floor mounts fitted and sealed with SIKA.

Six monting M4 screws should do it, large washer a must. Next step is to open-up for the cables. I will install a 12VDC receptacle (Flashlight, Cellphone, handheald VHF) at the bottom of the Navpod, this to limit the water ingress.

Did some partly-work, I try to be paitent to not try to complete a project in shortest time ever, instead I try to enjoy all these occassions when I find the time to work with the boat. Here are som pics taken with my mobile, poor quality. Better will come.

Installed the instruments into the Navpod, made some sort of prioritazing by installing the autopilot down-right for easy access with the right hand (righthanded).
Choosed to install the wind-display so I can save some info-boxes on the plotter for other info.

The ST40 Bidata showing STW, depth and watertemp (display not shown here) will be installed on the right side bulkhead (the lavatory-wall) so all crew-members can easily see depth and water-temp (for the kids).
